The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee will meet Wednesday and Thursday to discuss the U.K. government's plan to reduce government debt, inflation, the economic recovery and other factors that will contribute to decisions about interest rates and quantitative easing. The committee is not expected to increase rates. Meanwhile, it has signaled that it likely will wait until it receives a full update on the economy before making a move on quantitative easing.
