Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, along with three Democrats and 35 fellow Republicans, unveiled a "resolution of disapproval" that would invalidate the Environmental Protection Agency's finding that greenhouse gases endanger human health. "We're being presented with a false choice between unacceptable legislation and unacceptable regulations," said Murkowski. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., chairwoman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said the move was "a direct assault on the health of the American people."
