Starting in February, Australian retail giant Coles will sell more than 8,000 of its grocery products for the same prices across the state of Queensland rather than allowing each store to price products differently. Ian McLeod, managing director at Coles, said the company will apply its lowest prices on items such as meat, seafood, bakery and dairy products. Woolworths responded by saying it has had a similar policy in place for two years.
