An educator in England says the school system has been too focused on female students and has neglected the country's boys. Tony Little, who co-hosted the International Boys' Schools Coalition Conference, said boys learn better when they are active -- an assertion supported by research presented at the conference. England's standardised tests also benefit female students, who have outperformed their male peers on the tests for two decades because of their focus on verbal skills, Little said.
