Hundreds of greyhounds are up for adoption in Wisconsin after the Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha shut down in December amid declining receipts. "The dogs can go with their owners, they can go to another track, or they can be adopted," said Bill Apgar, the racetrack's general manager. Rescue groups from Wisconsin and two other states are using kennels or foster homes to accommodate the race dogs until they can be found new homes.
