The Healthy People 2010 project that set health goals for the U.S. a decade ago has resulted in mixed results, with only about 18% of the goals being met and the country retreating from 23% of the goals, a preliminary analysis indicates. The U.S. government is reviewing the data and drawing up a new set of goals for 2020 that are expected to be a bit less ambitious.
