The landmark Hotel Montana, located in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince and popular among French tourists, and the Hotel Christopher, which served as headquarters to the United Nations Stabilization Mission to Haiti, reportedly collapsed in Tuesday's magnitude 7.0 earthquake. Reports from the devastation indicate that as many as 300 people were inside the 145-room Hotel Montana at the time of the quake, but only 100 have been accounted for, and at least 150 guests at the Hotel Christopher were unaccounted for this morning.
