If residents of Ponce Inlet, Fla., don't look after their lawns, they're liable to find municipal workers cleaning up their properties for them. After fines and warning notices failed to persuade people to trim their lawns, city manager Jeaneen Clauss ordered Public Works employees to take matters into their own hands. Locals whose lawns are targeted will be billed $75 per cleanup session, Clauss warned.
