The office of New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo demanded that several financial institutions that received government funds provide details on their policy of executive compensation. "Transparency and disclosure of the banks' practices and plans are essential especially at this time," Cuomo said. He demanded pay information from JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, State Street, Wells Fargo and Bank of New York Mellon.
