The Obama administration has begun its push to revise the Elementary and Secondary Education Act -- known as No Child Left Behind. Goals for the revision include added flexibility, and $1 billion in federal aid is proposed to fund programs that emerge under the new law. "NCLB needs to be fixed right now," Education Secretary Arne Duncan said. "Clearly our goal would be this year." An attempt to rewrite the law in 2007 failed.
