The Haitian ambassador to the U.S. said Haiti plans to rebuild a smaller city in Port-au-Prince with stronger building standards. The country's government and infrastructure have been decimated by the earthquake, and experts predict it could cost up to $3 billion to rebuild the capital city. However, engineers found that Haiti's roads were not significantly damaged from the earthquake because the roads were already in such poor condition.
