Some educators are teaching students about the writings of William Shakespeare by having them perform scenes from the author's plays and enhancing the lessons with the latest audio and video tools, a method that's generating enthusiasm among students. High-school English and film-studies teacher Joshua Cabat helps his students learn Shakespeare by having them film each other acting out short scenes from plays or film their own revisions of scenes from Shakespeare movies. "They have to work with the words and the subtext, getting to the emotional core of the scene," he said.
