Smaller school districts are less likely than larger districts to have a staffer dedicated to educational technology, according to a federal survey on the availability and use of school technology resources. Schools are generally using technology and making it available to students and teachers, the National Center for Education Statistics survey found. However, while 83% of the districts that responded say teachers have an interest in using technology in the classroom, only 58% say they receive enough training to use it effectively.
