Half of all female Internet users have bought products after learning about them on social networks, according to the annual SheSpeaks social-media report. The study also found that four-fifths of women have become a fan of a product or brand on a social network, and more than a quarter bought something with a coupon code they received via Twitter. "For marketers, the overall growth and habitual use of social media represents opportunities to reach and engage women of all ages," said SheSpeaks CEO Aliza Freud.
