Policymakers and bankers gathered at the World Economic Forum in Davos reached a consensus on the need for global financial regulations, per this report. Parties to the forum had been at odds during the week-long conference before reaching the consensus. "There are very important issues to which there needs to be input from the politicians, from the regulators, from the central bankers, from the private bankers and from the private sector," said Adair Turner, chairman of the U.K.'s Financial Services Authority.
