D&H Distributing has signed an agreement to supply computer products from Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo Group and Toshiba to Nationwide Marketing Group. The deal is restricted to computers and peripherals, and it includes printers and tablet computers.
D&H Distributing said it expected cutting-edge TV technologies such as 3-D, IP connectivity and LED backlighting to spur robust sales in the future. The company also is forecasting good things ahead for the video game and home-theater-in-a-box sectors.
D&H Distributing announced that more than 2.3 million eco-friendly products were purchased as a result of its Earth Day promotion. D&H's Jeff Davis said that "the outcome of this promotion exceeded our expectations right from the start, so we can't be happier, considering the cause. We have to hand it to our customers, also -- so many of them were quick to shift their purchases toward Earth-friendly choices."
D&H Distributing announced that sales were up 5.5% in its first fiscal quarter of 2010, a period that ran from May 1 to July 31. The company's biggest performers were notebook computers, which were up 47%; DVD players, which grew 36%; and video-recording products, which increased 34%.
D&H Distributing, which has added 1,500 new accounts to its roster each quarter during the past year, has announced overall sales growth of 6% during its fiscal fourth quarter, which ended April 30. The company said it had across-the-board gains during the period, most notably with notebook/netbooks, which were up 54%; HDTVs, also up 54%; mobile devices, up 41%; and GPS devices, which increased 23%.
