AT&T appears headed to become Google's next partner for its new Nexus One smartphone, according to documents filed with the FCC by Taiwan cell phone maker HTC. The filing also may point to the carrier's taking on a different version of the Android-powered device, according to a report. The filing says the Nexus One has been tested on a GSM network -- and AT&T is the only U.S. carrier in that category.
