Two of five New Jersey summer programs held on college campuses for teenagers who are gifted have been eliminated this year because of a lack of funds. A "difficult private fundraising environment" combined with declining state funding led to scrapping this year's sessions of the Governor's School on Public Issues and the Future of New Jersey and the Governor's School of International Studies. Programs on the sciences, engineering and technology, and the environment will still be held.
