New Hampshire lawmakers are reconsidering allowing slot machines in the state, after a similar bill failed to win approval last year. "The climate has become more conducive because of the need and demand for jobs," said Sen. Lou D'Allesandro, the bill's sponsor. The bill would grant six slot licenses in the state, with a maximum of 17,000 slot machines installed -- about 3,000 more than are at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods combined.
