More young Americans are using more social-networking Web sites, but their interest in blogging is waning as they transition to communication that is brief and mobile, according to a study from the Pew Internet & American Life Project. The study found a drop in blogging among teenagers, with the percentage of 12- to 17-year-olds maintaining a blog going from 28% in 2006 to 14% in 2009.
