Winter is an opportune time to get rid of weeds that grow in a Bermuda grass lawn, writes columnist Rodd Moesel. Gardeners can use glyphosate to kill henbit, chickweed and other winter weeds without damaging the dormant grass. This is also a god time to apply pre-emergence weed killers for crabgrass and other weeds before they germinate in the warmer months, Moesel notes.
