The 18 biggest U.S. airlines improved their overall on-time arrival performance rate in January compared with the previous month. Nearly 79% of flights were on time during the first month of the year, while 77% arrived on time in December, according to monthly data from the government. The report also delves into cancellations, mishandled luggage, customer complaints and other aspects of the airline business.
