There are advantages to proceeding with the Denali pipeline project without the Alaskan government's assistance, project executive Bob Bleaney said. His statement comes after TransCanada and ExxonMobil -- Denali's competitors in the region -- secured the state's support via the Alaska Gas Inducement Act. Continuing without the AGIA is beneficial because developers will not be weighed down by certain terms, Bleaney added.
