EBay is emphasizing the green credentials of used products on its new site, green.ebay.com. It is reminding customers that recycling products is better for the environment because they use fewer resources. The company also is promoting used merchandise in a new ad campaign. "Most people think you have to make a product in a certain way with a certain set of ingredients for it to be green," said Amy Skoczlas Cole, director of the "green team" at eBay. "What we're saying is you don't have to make this new product at all."
