The European Commission signaled Wednesday that it is satisfied with proposed concessions offered by American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia, which are seeking regulatory approval for a trans-Atlantic joint venture. The EU said it would seek comment on the plan from interested parties -- normally a sign that regulators have no objections of their own.
