Adair Turner, chairman of the UK Financial Services Authority, told members of the Treasury select committee that sovereign credit default swaps need more analysis and could be subject to tougher regulation. "We have probably not been paying enough attention to the CDS market and not thinking aggressively," Turner said. "I certainly think it's something we should be open about. I do think there are major questions about the CDS market."
