The Federal Trade Commission is asking for public comment on a proposal to include midlevel ethanol blends in the list of fuels that must be rated, certified and labeled under the Fuel Ratings Rule, according to the Oil Price Information Service. The FTC is also seeking comment on a proposed rule for retailers to post information if they are selling blends that contain between 10% and 70% ethanol. Comments are due before May 21.
