Carriers in Asia and Latin America are leading the global airline industry to a stronger-than-expected recovery in 2010, an international trade association said Thursday. The group had previously forecast worldwide losses of $5.6 billion for the year but now says total losses will likely be just half that number. Europe and North America continue to lag other regions, however, as a weak economic recovery limits demand for business-class travel.
