MySpace is going back to the company's roots, in an attempt to turn the troubled social network around. The company will move away from the bells and whistles that were distracting the site from its core mission, and it will refocus on its original purpose as a social-entertainment site, tapping users' information to recommend music, movies and games to them. "That's where we came from and where MySpace really made its mark, being the place that obsessively catered to creative leaders," says Co-President Jason Hirschhorn.
