A study of more than 22,000 California men found 1.2% of those who were infertile developed prostate cancer in the following decade compared with 0.4% of those who were not infertile. The risk of being diagnosed with aggressive tumors was 2.6 times higher among infertile men and the risk for slow-growing tumors was 1.6 times higher, researchers found.
