Sun Country Airlines will soon buck tradition among low-cost carriers by offering weekly flights to the U.K. The Minnesota-based carrier plans to fly seasonally between Minneapolis-St. Paul and London Stansted, a popular hub for European discount airlines. Sun Country will operate Boeing 737-800s on the route, stopping in Gander, Newfoundland, for fuel. "We think this is an interesting opportunity to pursue," says CEO Stan Gadek.
