Opera Mini for iPhone has been submitted to the Apple iPhone App Store for approval. The mobile Web browser, according to this report, "relies on Opera's servers to render and compress pages before sending them back to the iPhone for display." Opera hopes that wrinkle will help it gain Apple's approval. Also, Qualcomm said it would bundle Opera's Mini and Mobile browsers with its Brew software, and Mozilla said it had abandoned Microsoft's Windows Mobile platform for its Firefox browser
