PepsiCo is launching an ad campaign during the NBA playoffs for Gatorade's G Series, a lineup of three special-purpose sports drinks. "Prime" is a concentrate meant to be imbibed before activity, "Perform" is a sports-drink designed for refreshment during activity, and the protein-spiked "Recover" is designed for after the game. PepsiCo calls the G Series "the biggest innovation news in its history," and one ad says Gatorade "changed the game" in 1965 and is now "changing the game again."
