Major commercial banks pledged to continue their battle against public disclosure of the Federal Reserve's emergency loans during the height of the financial crisis, according to an industry-owned group. "Our member banks are very concerned about real-time disclosure of information that could cause a run on the banks," said Paul Saltzman, the group's general counsel. "We're not going to let the 2nd Circuit opinion stand without seeking a review."
