Businesses don't get the same protections from banks as other customers who become fraud victims, Kathy Kristof writes. While banks cover most of the losses when consumer bank accounts are drained, banking laws do not require banks to do the same for business customers. People working as consultants or who recently became self-employed may want to consider those rules before opening a separate, business banking account, Kristof writes.
