Maryland spice company McCormick & Co. is working with Constellation Energy to create the largest single rooftop solar installation in the state. The 8,300 crystalline photovoltaic panels are expected to save McCormick more than $3 million in energy costs.
Children and young teens who consume 100% fruit juice receive more key nutrients than nonjuice drinkers, according to a study that also found a link between juice consumption and eating fruit and whole-grain food. The researchers say nonjuice drinkers between ages 2 and 18 were more likely to fall short of recommended levels of nutrients including vitamins A and C and folate.
