A preschool special-education program in Springfield, Mo., is working to increase enrollment of students without special needs. The Integrated Classroom program primarily serves students with disabilities, but officials say students of all abilities benefit from playing and learning together. "It's a wonderful opportunity for those general-education peers. It's a high-quality program. They're being educated," the district's special-services director said. "Those kids are growing up in an environment where we are all the same."
