The Environmental Protection Agency is poised to roll out the so-called "tailoring rule" that will set emissions standards for industrial sources of greenhouse gases, according to Gina McCarthy, an assistant administrator at the agency. "We're expecting that rule to be done very shortly, hopefully by the end of the month," McCarthy added. The agency has previously indicated that it intends to restrict, or "tailor," Clean Air Act regulations so they apply only to the biggest polluters.
