While daily-deal sites such as Groupon are already making the most of Facebook and Twitter, recent startup HomeRun takes social bargain hunting to a whole new level. Users build profiles, earn points for sharing deals or inviting new members and get cash back or access to special deals as they accrue social capital. The killer feature: For many of the site's products, prices drop for all purchasers as more people pile on, giving everyone a direct incentive to evangelize.
