A U.S. bankruptcy judge decided that Lehman Bros. can move forward with its legal claims against Barclays. Lehman alleges that Barclays reaped an $11 billion "windfall" from its acquisition of Lehman's broker-dealer subsidiary and is seeking to recover the money. Judge James Peck rejected Barclays' attempt to have the case thrown out. "This is an opening argument for an evidentiary hearing," Peck said. "This is the beginning of a long slog."
