New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he won't support plans for offshore liquefied natural gas terminals, saying the environmental risks outweigh the economic benefits. Three projects, which would use floating pipelines and artificial islands to create terminals where ships could unload their LNG cargo, have been proposed for New Jersey but appear unlikely to go ahead. "LNG facilities ... are not the answer for New Jersey's needs," Christie said.
