The parents of a girl with autism say they are using technology to prevent an incident from occurring like the one where a Florida girl with Asperger's syndrome went missing near her home but was found alive after an extensive search. Kristine Silva has her daughter Skylar, 7, wear a watch-sized transmitter from Project Lifesaver that would allow law-enforcement officials to track her if she became lost. "We protect our cars, we protect our homes, why not protect our children if we can?" the mother said.
