David Axelrod, senior adviser to President Barack Obama, and Lawrence Summers, director of the National Economic Council, met with top executives from some of the nation's largest financial institutions to urge them to stop fighting financial-regulatory legislation, sources said. Axelrod and Summers met with JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and other executives. The executives said they support reform but have concerns about specific measures.
