Officials at the Association of American Railroads say some of America's top companies have made strides in securing dangerous chemicals hauled by rail car. However, AAR wants Congress to make sure all chemical makers enact tougher security measures to prevent a disaster involving chlorine or another hazardous chemical. Dow Chemical has already partnered with K2Pure Solutions to eliminate the storage and transport of 90-ton rail cars of chlorine gas.
