Most resume-screening software will rule out candidates who are overqualified, even as hiring on Wall Street shows signs of a robust recovery. Other employers, Jon Jacobs writes in an eFinancialCareers commentary, will use " 'overqualified' as a barely concealed synonym for 'too old.' " The biggest concern is not usually pay, but rather culture and fit, Jacobs writes.
