The company Bill Barrett said its output in the Gibson Gulch part of the Piceance Basin grew to 122 million cubic feet per day of gas equivalent in early May, up from a daily average of 109 million cubic feet of gas equivalent in the year's first quarter. The company also seeks to drill up to 140 wells in the area this year, citing drilling efficiencies and natural gas liquids prices.
