Christopher Xu, an 11-year-old Wisconsin student who has autism, is one of the state's most gifted math students, his elementary school's chess champion and is a talented musician with perfect pitch. Xu's parents cite early intervention and dedicated teachers among the reasons for their son's achievements. "I want to tell his story not for bragging," his mother says. "But to thank his teachers, thank his therapists, thank his school for all they have done. And I want other parents to have hope."
