Cincinnati Bell will continue to defend its wireline business even as the regional telecom puts its greatest focus on fiber-optic networks and commercial data centers as potential profit centers, CEO Jack Cassidy told investors Tuesday at the company's annual shareholders meeting. Cassidy noted that the revenue for the carrier's 500,000-square-foot data center increased 27% in 2009 and predicted earnings would grow 2% this year on flat revenue.
