CityCenter is advertising in high-brow publications such as the New Yorker to draw a different clientele to Las Vegas, writes columnist Susan Kime. Although MGM Mirage CEO Jim Murren took a gamble on CityCenter in a shaky economy, Murren could still prove a visionary for Las Vegas. Kime writes that "outlier visions like his usually have undeniable substance, and time appears to be on his side."
