New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, who will accept the Democratic nomination for governor today, needs to address the state's fiscal woes as part of his promise to clean up the "national disgrace" in Albany, according to a New York Times editorial. In his acceptance speech, Cuomo should outline how he would close a $9 billion budget gap. "The election is five months away, but the budget crisis needs to be solved now," the newspaper said.
